Coffee Can Prevent Prostate Cancer

Coffee could reduce risk of prostate cancer in men. It is known from research conducted by a team of researchers from Harvard Medical School, United States.

The study was conducted on 50 000 men who regularly drink coffee. The results showed the risk of prostate cancer in men who drink coffee regularly reduced to 60%.

Research team estimates that substances contained in coffee could suppress the growth of cancer cells. According to researchers, coffee has an effect on insulin and glucose metabolism, as well as sex hormones which play an important role in Prostate Cancer.

“There are few lifestyle factors that directly related to risk of prostate cancer. These findings are very encouraging, especially for coffee lovers, “said Helen Rippon, from the Prostate Cancer Charity, as quoted from the DailyMail.

According to Rippon, such research could be an indication that drinking coffee regularly can reduce the risk of prostate cancer. Although further research is still needed to know the content in coffee that can suppress cell growth triggers Prostate Cancer.

“We do not recommend a man to drink lots of coffee because the caffeine content is high and could jeopardize the health,” said Rippon.

Suggest to your spouse and your male friends to eat a small cup of coffee per day. But remember, do not be excessive. It’s that coffee can reduce the risk Prostate Cancer and not cause other health problems. Take also sports a minimum of 15 minutes each day to reduce the risk of death from Prostate Cancer.
