
Apparently, men did masturbate at a young age and unmarried may endanger their health. In a recent study by the University of Nottingham, England found that men aged between 20 to 30 years who masturbate frequently and regularly exposed to risks of prostate cancer. Uniquely, the study also found, for men aged 40-50 years an active sex life can be protected from the disease.
This research tested by comparing the sexual activity carried 431 men diagnosed with prostate cancer with 409 men who are not affected. The result, 34 percent or 146 of 431 people affected by prostate cancer often masturbated from the age of 20 years.
"We want to see the lives of male sexual activity that prostate cancer when they were young," said lead researcher Polyxeni Dimitropoulou.
He also revealed that the hormone testosterone can trigger the uncontrolled cell growth in prostate cancer. Therefore, prostate cancer patients given hormonal therapy control.
The study also found that 59 percent of a group of men affected by prostate cancer and what not, do at least 12 times per month sexual activity (including masturbation) in the 20s. Then, 39 percent of prostate cancer groups have female partner of more than six people. And, a person affected by prostate cancer is more easily affected by other sexually transmitted diseases.
Prostate cancer is cancer that develops in the prostate gland. It occurs when prostate cells mutate and begin to grow out of control. These cells may spread from the prostate to other body parts, especially bones. Prostate cancer can cause pain, difficulty urinating, erectile dysfunction and other symptoms.
Prostate cancer, is the second highest cause of death in the United States. And, each year there are 30.000 men who died from the disease.
