Prostate cancer are the two types of people in which one type of cancer spread outside the pelvic area and other cancers remain in the pelvic area. Cancer that spread beyond the pelvic area is called the M1 prostate cancer and has a tendency to spread to the bone than most other parts of the body affected.
At this stage the cancer is called metastasis, and this is an advanced-stage cancer. Even if the local tumor in the pelvic region small but if the cancer has spread to the bone then it is still considered to be at an advanced stage. M1 is used to categorize the type of cancer metastasis. In advanced stages of cancer, whatever the main purpose is to prolong the patient's life rather than saving their lives because it becomes difficult to simply cure the disease at that stage. The only effort that can be done is still controlling the disease that increases a patient's life.
Metastatic prostate cancer that had spread to the bone can be controlled using radiotherapy, hormone therapy and chemotherapy. Third is the most common forms of treatment available to treat cancer patients. Because at this stage of cancer has spread to the bone, which is not localized, radiation therapy is the first attempt to kill cancer cells and then treating the affected bone. Cancer cells may appear again, but this therapy is used to control them by killing the cells and delay the process of deterioration of the patient.
