Tests conducted on 125 patients with prostate cancer the level of "advanced" is immune to the drugs show they are able to live more than eight months or longer than those who did not receive treatment with the vaccine, said Dr. Philip Kantoff of the Dana-Faber Cancer Instiutute and Harvard Medical School in Boston, who led the study.

"The average cancer patient porstat lasted up to two years," Kantoff said in a telephone interview. "While that last up to three years, 30 percent of those who got the vaccine is still alive," he explained.

He argues, a broader study with more number of patients who were being prepared this year.

The researchers mention that the active compounds in green tea is known to slow the progression of prostate cancer.

In the research found that some capsules are filled with green tea extract called "polyphenols" can lower levels of several proteins that so far causes tumors to grow.
