Most Sit back, peering Prostate Cancer



For men who often sit or have a demanding profession that continues to sit at the table. Swedish researchers say that a man who spends his time sitting all day risk for prostate cancer up to 30 percent.

Compared with active workers are more likely to work in the field, researchers from the Karolinska Institute in Sweden say that the man with the type of work at the front desk more affected by prostate cancer.

In a study involving 45 000 men aged 45 to 79 years, it is known that the man who sat for half of his working hours a day, only the risk of prostate cancer as much as 20 percent. The results of this study was published in the British Journal of Cancer.

Dr Helen Rippon, from the Prostate Cancer Charity suggested that men were more actively engaged at least one hour a day. "At least take an hour to move. No need each day to the gym, just walk and get around, that's fine.
